Deluge of Delusion

Blood in my eyes
When you told me
You do not need me now

I wondered why
Just what had brought this on
You had said nothing before

Locked in our lives
Till we gave each other the keys
Now I am lost in my mind
Because you have set me free

I am just a boy
Disguised as a man
I am some body
That I cannot understand

When I was a little boy
I kept it all inside my mind
Till it started to fall apart
I managed to get it together
That act killed my heart

Then one day you came along
Showed me where I had it wrong

Seems I threw all that away

Can’t help thinking

Just like that little boy
