Parasitosis

Stigmata Diabolic

She was beautiful
Not in the classic sense

Rather

In his mind

Sure
She had a face promising much

Mystery
Seduction
Sex

Her posture both exposed
And belied these truths

Still

He could not remove her
From his thoughts
His loins
His bed

She had unmade him
Moulding him to her needs
Though he did not change
He was indeed a changeling
Tied to her every need

Now a symbiote
Sans host

He slithers through the day
Only words giving credence to the truth

His visage that of a stoic
Bland
Cold
Unheeding of the emotions
Those primal pieces of his id
Lurking in the shadows of his mind

He writes

Not of himself
But of the third dimension
His fears consigned to non-dimensionality

He sits here
Typing as in a fever

As I

I watch on

In awe

In wonderment

In tears
