Blood on the glass
A rumour
Denied
I’m sitting quiet
On the floor
Angels scream
Then fly
Crashing through the dawn
Good intentions
Slaughtered
Once more
My angel
Starts to cry
Meanwhile I
The baby in the hall
Laugh and smile
As I’m painting the walls
That woman
The one the angel denied
She can no longer hide
As the baby
Finally cries
I see her floating once again

Blood on the glass
No love was denied
My angel leapt
But she couldn’t fly
