Love Poem for Broken Stranger

(OR "Feng Shui & Reconciling in D Flat Major")

What color are your eyes now?
Is that music or your voice,
What color is your hair now?
Please don't forsake our choice.

The moon will crash again
into the sea without a sound
The sun will share fiery melody
that across the Milkyway will rebound

Every star will dance
a sweet and silent ballet
but i will see none of that
until I hear you say

"one more chance for you, my love,
remind me how we go
One more time to hold on tight
and remember what we know."

then my heart will be the snare drum
and your breath will be the bass
along the line from breast to hip
I will slowly trace

the love we made a thousand times
and all the tears we shed
then record in whispers to you ear
every nothing that we've said

What words we say we will forget,
all our many sins will fade,
if we start right now, my love
set aside the mistakes we've made

Let me say in silence
all the things that can't be spoken
Let us love much harder now
to repair these hearts we've broken

What color are your eyes now?
I can't see they shine too bright.
Is that music that we're dancing to?
No, I think it's just a sign we're loving right.
