I came upon a time
Where I was not my mind
Couldn’t lay the thought
To rights
Now all that has gone
Nothing can be done
When will it return
All I know is lies
Told by everyone
See it in the gaze
Of those that I surround
Living without hope
Truth yet to be learnt
Do you wonder why
I am not insane
