I am a reformed whore only in that I am constantly re-forming my whorishness. This is why I'm vehemently opposed to any limits on lust.
I would rethink "copper-colored" (I nearly added that "u" you all hate so much) -- consider that simply "copper" indicates a base metal that can be polished up to look much more valuable than it really is. I do like the play from copper to copious. Also very keen on the sardonic -ests of the second strophe, the tone is delightful (to me, but of course I'm one of those evil beings, just looking for a wrong to embrace).
Nice to see something Bill-ish again.

Thanks Leanne. I thought you might have disappeared into an editorial abyss (complete with angsty authors). :0
As for copper-colored, It satisfies me with both its feel and the sense that the material under the copper coloring might be even more base/cheap than the copper itself.
Bill

I actually love both the idea of going with just the copper - AND the copper-colord the sunnier more tanned copper-colored harkens to a grittier image to me, and the other is more surreal and slappier in the facier. Personally, I'd be waffling. Enjoyed this one Bill

Well, anyone reformed, I imagine (/can attest). I used to be a title fetishist. Shame, because I would have loved this one, resplendent in its blatant subtlety :>

Suddenly I have a readership. The original purpose of this write involved the line "There's nothing worse than a reformed whore" from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Thanks for the read.

Perhaps your readership comprises closeted reformed whores?
I was tempted to question 'remain limited', but refrained when seeing that the line break gives it an extra dimension, the line break as caesura.
Also wondering whether the collective noun for reformed whores should be a shower? Maybe not, but it would make excellent 'one down' material :>
