Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe in S2L4 you meant "thou".
As for your reaction to the critiquer, it seems a bit over the top, especially given that you say you realized the poem was a bad piece - which implies that it was written at a skill level lower than you possessed at that time. In any case, each of us should be writing for ourselves, not for affirming reviews. That's how we all progress.
