The Kings Final Word

Personally I find this quite a good mythological tale -- though I think you need an extra stanza of explanation -- did his voice leave earth completely so people could live in blessed silence? Or was he struck dead?  If so, who by?  I think you could do with a little moral tie-in -- as is, it kind of reads as if it's really dangerous to sing badly.  If so, this would have affected everyone in the Pop Idol series... 

"Dark" generally means that people don't think kids can handle something. Probably because they think kids need all sunshine and puppy dogs. Imagine how boring your life would have been as a kid if everything was ordered and pretty.
