I had an actual phone conversation with the gentleman with whom I am corresponding in these emails right after I sent my first email. He was a giant cock in the conversation -understandably so. The funny thing is, I did an about face in the middle of the conversation with him after I realized the error in interpretation that my Au Pair made (and, in turn, I made), and apologized.

Now, it's just plain fun

Hahaha... I hate the Italians after their cheating in the World Cup, and this just confirms it.  Although, are you sure they're not secretly French?

I feel sorry for your Au Pair. But this email correspondence is priceless.  Just so you all know there are many hardworking dedicated and helpful government employees... they have to make up for those that are less than adequate!
