I think the key for you is going to be finding the right editor/agent that really understands what you're doign and your market. Because when you find the right one, you're going to take off. You've got such a cute little niche in the young childrens market... It's sad that your'e not appreciated yet.

Yes! Totally distasteful to my sensibility but I'm quite sure your intended audience would think it hilarious! Actually, what I really love is the last stanza because the way the words rhyme and flow is particularly catchy. I think the imagery would really grab at a school age child. You must find it challenging to bridge the gap between editors and your audience.
