I think the first one is more polished. The second one, at least to my thinking needs a bit of work on the meter of the song at the end. Perhaps i'm just reading it wrong.

I would have responded sooner but for some screwy reason I couldn't post comments but now I can. 
Anyway, thank you for sharing your opinion on my dribble. I've decided not to submit poems individually, but to keep them together as a poetry book. Hopefully there is safety in numbers.

I'll have to second Stephan. They're both really cute, but the second one seems to be missing some words to make the second stanza more sing-able; particularly after hop-scotching, wiggle, giggle and bare footing.
