Making Poetry Popular

I don’t think poetry is unpopular at all.  It’s everywhere,  in songs, TV commercials, advertising and yes, even greeting cards.  I think that IS the problem.  We are bombarded with it all day, everyday.

It might not be what you consider to be “poetry” but poetry takes many different forms.  Writing is an extremely competitive market, no matter what genre you choose.  I don’t think poetry is dead or unpopular.  I think it’s very competitive and you to set yourself apart from the competition, which is easier said than done.
