Nenuphar Synthesis (The Lotus And The Lily)

i.
silver euphoria paints
scattered moonbeams
in repose across water;
silent garden

ii.
wind's breeze wafts a fan
forms ripples on water's surface
that the moon refracts,
spills sugar waves to lap against a
lone water lily

iii.
as soft lily blooms fragrance
and unfolds in layers,
skin is unearthed bare and pale,
with grace, sinew arched;
lain in a bed of hands

iv.
hair tangled, grass entwined,
lips sweep skin moist;
he leaves his scent on her neck,
echoes pleasured hands,
cups firmly her hips,
spills his sugar waves to rest
inside her grove

I don't remember this one at all. I like it a lot.

In the second stanza, I think it reads more smoothly without the "the's", and in the iv, without the initial "her".

This piece creates a feeling of being removed from time and space, placing you somewhere both spiritual and sensual.

Nice journey.

I think i'm going to have to agree with you, Emily. Thanks.

Well, poop.
