Jen I really enjoyed this... I was really capitivated by the story and the rhyming was so smooth..  I got caught on a few lines..  it could totally be me.. but..here's the ones I had trouble with..

2stanza line 2  "as big a two,"
18stanza line1 "Your all alone"..  You're all alone
21stanza line4 "for this tree."  ...

well those are so minor I hate to even tell you.. I really enjoyed this Jen, it brightened my day!  thank you

haha, did you write thi about my best friend and I?

First, I love it, I always enjoy your poems Jen.

Some suggestions:

 -  "I can't slide over", how about "I can't even slide over"

  • "I thought that you" , how about "I thought that  perhaps you"

  • "there is a way"; how about "there is always a way"
