I assume the red / white / blue refer to something within the experience. Because we readers cannot relate to it, It adds nothing to the poem for us. I suggest that adding a few words to make it relevant would strengthen the write. The minimalism of the rest of this make it interesting, so the fewer words to give us a reference point, the better.
