Tales from the Twisted Veranda

The funny part is, I just steal bits and pieces of true stories from my southern famiy's past and the tales my grandmother told or tried to hide- and then throw a bit of fiction on them to hold them together. I don't know why southerners are so loony- perhaps it's because they mostly hail from Ireland and Scotland originally. I know my people did. Maybe it's the heat. Tee hee.
