The thing with fish...

excellent question,  Have you asked a fish if he knows the difference between wet and dry?

I judge my living status by the pulse at my throat, but that is rather simplistic of me.

Love the poem and the question.  In the last stanza, for some reason I think it reads better when you say "they're" not "they are"
