Madrigal (English or Chaucerian)

I don't know why, but I find these forms - rondeau, villanelle, madrigal etc. - intimidating due to (I keep telling myself) the refrain/rentrement/repetition thing.
This one does say something to me - it's redolent of Pre-Raphaelite themes of Waterhouse et al, and Tennyson's Lady of Shallot - I'm not sure why that poem stayed with me. Perhaps it was something to do with my thoughts at the time of reading: 'Lancelot, Camelot, ...(?)'; a title almost as inspiring as 'Lord'.
