this is completely engaging poetry......taut, powerful, brilliantly stark......friggin creatively stark......yet, even in the midst of such despairing words, the ending might be read as with a glimmer of hope......Amaranth never dies......and grows in the most unlikely of places.....and poetry......[Paradise Lost].....btw, I might delete the line "In the bathroom" and let the image flow straight to "Deep under covers"......imho......Kat
