He was born in Arlington, MA, with his left hand significantly larger than his right. He graduated from Lexington High School, and was accepted into Harvard, before he was drafted. He served with honor and little else in the Korean War, and later played as a wide receiver in the NFL . He died in Concord, following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Isabelle; two daughters, Erin Black and her husband, Walter of Tyngsboro, and Justine LaFayette and her husband, Daniel of Concord, NH; and six grandchildren, all but one too young to remember him in a decade. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. ... more

He was a bespectacled printmaker with a painfully self-effacing style and a militiristic command of technique. He died, withered and gray-haired at his home in Paris. Born without a mother, he waited his entire life for the pneumonia that would kill him, then nothing was said for weeks after, until his body was cold and buried. If only he'd been an artist.

He was the son of a diplomat born in Lyons, France on a moonlit night, and never knew his raven-haired mother. When he was 11, he moved to Lawrence, MA, where he lived with his Aunt Betty and Uncle Lou. He graduated from Central Catholic, went on to Suffolk University where he earned his J.D. He practiced law in the shadows of textile mills along the Merrimack River, until he died on a cold October day from severe head trauma after slipping on rotting fruit.

He was born without a father, screaming in his grandmother's kitchen in Desdunes, Haiti. Then he was orphaned by a fire caused by the candles on his first birthday cake. Eventually he became a thief and a conman, robbing tourists with an easy smile and a quick story. With these skills, he learned the art of poetry, and soon became famous all over his country for his pithy verse

She was born in Columbus, Ohio, but grew up in Hummelstown,

This is her deep dark secret: a love of chocolate that surpasses all understanding. Even after years of study, with her B.A. in Theology from Aquinas College and her M.A. in Comparitive Philosophy (with a specialty in ashetics) is
