According to Douglas Adams -- who was the authority on all things -- God is based on faith and without faith, God no longer exists.  With proof of God's existence, there is no need for faith, therefore if we find irrefutable proof of God then there is no more faith, ergo there is no God.  Adams points to the babelfish -- being a creature that could not possibly have evolved randomly, therefore proof of intelligent design, ie God.  You have God's graffiti.

In both scenarios, God vanishes in a puff of logic. Personally I think you should market your miracle salt (which would make you a salt seller) -- although there's a big chick-shaped pillar of it somewhere near Gomorrah if memory serves.
