Making Poetry Popular

Hey Ryan,

To me 'saving poetry' is really about saving the audience for poetry, and preservering the history of it. At the rate things are going, it won't matter what is written: No one will bother to read it.  No one will hear it.

I do want people to write poetry, and as you know, i'm not particularly judgmental on form -- only content and quality, and even then, I don't censor people, I just point out what i dislike and why.

 But this isn't just about that. This is a marketing thing. 

Poetry needs to be sold to the people again, or it will be a lost art -- and that makes me sad.
