"Poetry can't be fashioned or transmitted in some special manner to reach the audience."

I disagree and definately think that it can. 

Maybe it's because I write for kids and not adults.  I find that children's poetry reaches both audiences in the same manner.  I use humor or at least I try to, which is my manner or style of fashioning poetry.

I think that poetry can be fashioned or transmitted in some special manner to reach the audience but the poet has to be willing to write for an audience not just for themselves.
