Where Trees Grow

I like way you sustain the metaphor of tree-human synthesis. The piece disturbs without being overly manipulative, and the imagery of tree-height against human-smallness works well. There' s almost the connotation of a tree's growth-rings marking the passage of time...a strong narrative but not wordy, the language is selective and concise...Good piece. Rgds., Alan.
