It's been well over three hundred daysWhen the ground vanished under foot

It made no sense, how can one flyAs if sprouted wings among the sky

Up, up, upward spiral from root to tipAnd kisses the dampened curve of lips

Imagine my surprise when I felt dirtTurned to mud slip between my toes

And the wild hurdle, stomach curdlingKamikaze plunge to where it all began

With the realization it was never the fallOr the ride, but the cool feel of solid earth</description>
