The Sermon

To quote Dawkins, The God Delusion. Need I say more.

Despise
That's what I do all day
I despise your petty governance
Your willingness to mire all
Red tape & political correctness
Your weapons of choice

Loathing
What I have for your ministrations
Your life of puerile servitude
Your desire to be GREAT in your paucity
An illusion of course
Your wealth is unmeasured

Laughter
What I do when you pontificate
Accuse of possession and saintliness
Harry Potter despised
Tragic piece of writing
As good as your book by all definitions

Rage
A purity you did not want
Yet with two millennia of your hatred
What can you expect?
Stolen God, stolen nations, stolen lives

Abhor
A tiny nation, a land of Fishers
What happened to the Lambs words
Of course, he spoke of taking the up sword
His Father encouraged violence
Words that are bitter in your mouth

Respect
For a great man that died
He sought to right so many of your wrongs
Yet he still preached your ills
The second of that name
A victim of his own liturgy

Sadness
For all those who rely on you
A great shame they have no faith
To believe in ones self is the goal
For in belief, we find WE are what you fear
Without the faithless, you'd have no believers
