Shakespeare's Monkeys

Infinite Monkeys. Infinite Typewriters.

More in that's my colon

what i write in my journal

when others fade away
i think i shall remember
your gentle voice

your bright eyes
aglow at sunset
after we spoke of doves

there is peace here
in this merry solitude
we build amongst the squalor
of my endless droning on
and on
about the measure of a word

there is the us
ual banter of bro
ken list
less kisses on
and on
about the measure of a heart

and...
of course,
there is the scent of wildflowers
and your breath.

This is just oozing with sweetness! My question comes in the next to they last stanza where you broke a line using 'usual'....the only problem with this particular word is that the reader  reads it as two words, you know....the  'us' that means two of us...then when we get to the next line we have to stop and realize that the whole word is 'usual' and that really breaks the moment in time.

I do like the breaking up of one word between two lines....just not this particular word.

I am orbiting, I don't know where, but I am orbiting something!
