Jan 25 My name is Leo. I have had random careers as a schoolteacher/librarian/writer/poet/cook and all-around friendly guy. I especially like writing poetry and essay memoirs. For some reason, I am not good at all in writing fiction and always feel that few things are as interesting than real life. After some years away from my hometown of Lowell, Massachusetts (Jack Kerouac country!), I have recently returned and am looking to see what or where the local poetry scene might be and Ellen Anstey (Stephan's wife) told me today about Brewed Awakenings here and The Eggroll Cafe. Exciting! I would just like to maybe go and listen. I don't think I'd have the courage to stand up in front of an audience! I like hearing from other creative souls from everywhere, would love to have some pen pals from all over the world. Cheers!
