A mockery of this spectrum against rose coloured walls.
Supposed wisdom in the patterns I leave against his knowledge
-this is all I could ever amount to.
Repeat it for your love, your pains, you loss.

It grows ever more bitter with each new prayer

in L2, i read 'coloured' as 'covered' -- just thought that might interest you. I thought the first stanza is better than the second - on the strength of the images and it's more implied angst rather than the clearly defined second stanza.
