Discuss: You Were The First

Souvenirs by Dan Fogelberg was the first music I ever bought for my wife of 32 years. We have had a soft place in our heart for his music ever since. We never plan for what life gives us, sometimes survival is the challenge. We have survived the worst, and somehow that unplanned Mantra "Part of The Plan" seems to define what we have been through. I downloaded this song yesterday. Seriously. That's freaky. It's a very nice song. I was very sad when I heard he'd died.

He was somewhat of a lyrical poet in his own rite. Very grifted writer and musician. If you have not heard run for the roses, that is a worthwhile download too. Since my mom was raised 45 minutes from Churchill Downs, that one is personal too.
