i have been a husband for quite a while. as a sub-species, we're not really that well suited to thinking. Your best bet is murder or forgiveness. Either way.

I, too, hate when my words are not good enough. And I feel that way often. I'm surrounded by people who don't listen to me, despite the fact that I am a keen and loving observer of their lives.

If it makes you feel any better, my husband majorly pissed me off today, too.   (grumble, grumble)

Julie -- it's your use of the word Jimmies that makes me love you.

As far as the thinking thing... it's a strange sort of affinity to our mule-like nature that creates the necessity of a show steeped stubborn.

Jimmies ? What on EARTH do Jimmies have to do with ice cream ? (This MUST be one of those times when we remember that US English is a foreign language that just happens to sound like UK English,  and should be  taught in schools as such.

Jimmies are a very distinct regional word for 'chocolate sprinkles' that only highly sophisticated and wonderfully colorful people use.

I love the word "jimmies." I didn't think anyone used it anymore. I am happy.
