I thought this was astoundingly good, every bit of it. So many lines like "hope is such a nasty smelling jacket" fill it with honest emotion: elation, anger, sorrow. then in the end? it's so full of porpoise, and not one bit too long at all. I wouldn't worry too much about the poetry gods.
