What a vividly painted picture - wow! Sad, a bit disturbing, icky, utterly real, and very engaging even as it pushes the reader out of her comfort zone.
I go along for this somewhat difficult ride until the last stanza, which loses me. I think I'm just not as clear on all the imagery there and who's speaking in the last line.
