Nice! I like the alliterations, and the images are effective. I have only 1 question / suggestion: Why on the last stanza did you line-break after the first "dawn" instead of after "water"?
The title was also provocative, enticing expectations of UFO landings, etc. Finally, the language was sparse and economical.
