Making Poetry Popular

Trueee that, anstey pants. Though YOU may not make a distinction (and I believe that's a good call, though that's just my opinion and wtf do I know), I think many people do. And it's not a positive one. I think Hallmark and hallmark-esque poetry has ruined its reputation. I know people who are just like "i don't like poetry". how can you NOT like poetry? ANY of it? really? that's like saying.. I DONT LIKE FICTION. Which I guess is allowed.. but it's lame.
