More in Heaven Heaven
The couch at the beginning of this poem is a great send off. I like the way the warmth comes from it and closes your eyes. And I love the imagery of the "darkness walks into the corners of my eyes"-- The part in dark print at the top--I imagine that as an intro, not part of the poem, right? If so, it looks too important there, and too bold and the poem starts too close under it as I see it. It's such a good beginning. and then the dreaminess that follows right into the wake-up call-- a really good ending too.
