God Save the Queen

What a hoot- though, I'd have to agree with some of this, even though I'm a yank. Sometimes it's downright embarassing being American, especially when I've traveled overseas and seen them waddling about in sweatpants and red,white and blue rain slickers, asking LOUDLY, "Do you have any of them real french fries and I need more ice for my Coke." Cringe, cringe. Or whatever horrifyingly tasteless thing they're doing, thinking that as Americans, their way is the RIGHT way! Gracious me. There was a time when one's education involved a stint overseas to broaden the mind culturally and otherwise. Whenever any of my neighbors travel it's to Cancun! WHY? I'm not knocking folks who go there but with so many interesting places in the world....It just wouldn't make my list. Tea is something we should institute immediately-except then we Americans would be even fatter. Mmmmm, shortbread, clotted cream and....ok. I'll shush...Thanks for sharing this..C
