here's a twist on Neruda's "I love you and I do not love you" (sonnet XLIV)... I like your edge, the lovely bite and rawness you have here.
I agree with ziggy about the cliches, still it's brilliant the way it is. "when your ego grows/ big and hard" .. love it!
