Beautiful People

This is a beautiful little essay too.  What strikes me is that all these people have value, beauty and loads of humanity - but too many walk by, turn their faces away and live in the comfort of defining away the lives of others who make them uncomfortable.  I see my own city in much the same way - full of life, circumstances and a rich variety of experiences that never fail to move me.  I'm glad I read this.  Welcome to the site.
