I'm part of a critique group of local poets. Here in Portland there are lotsa poetry reading groups, but no critique groups other than formal classes. If you discover any good procedures or exercises, I would like to hear them, and I think I can speak for the group: They would as appreciate learning of them. Classes
I have signed up for a creative writing class in October at the University of Illinois-Chicago Campus. It is Wednesday evenings for 6 weeks and includes many different aspects on writing I am interested in . I hope it is worth the $300, I feel I still have so much more to learn. Anyone else taking a writing class or seminar?
