Hard to keep this poem from unravelling with limited words to choose from at the end of the alphabet! |
![]() Leanne Hansonfrom Just west of the lounge room Associate, 3708 posts | That is so cool! You could try xenogenetically instead, maybe... the end of the alphabet is always interesting. |
![]() Amanda Bakerfrom Kentucky 287 posts | I may have to give this one a go. If a poem doesn't come of it, I am sure it will be a good exercise to get some juices flowing. Or at least expand my vocabulary of words beginning with X, Y and Z. ----- ...but what do I know? |

This makes a horrible kind of sense -- I'm not sure how Dadaist it really is but it's certainly broken a few preconceptions! |
Deadpoetsmilk | can an abcect...be 26 lines where each line goes thusly? A B C I'd also think it neat if someone took upon the challange of writing one in this style but each line's alliterated...and if you want a superhard challange, do it in some sort of meter. Have fun. I'm not going to do it, I already tried and found it frustrating.

![]() Leanne Hansonfrom Just west of the lounge room Associate, 3708 posts | I've seen abcedarians done like you suggest, kind of like an acrostic using each letter of the alphabet. I'm not sure if anyone's ever been insane enough to alliterate in meter though... alliteration is not a forte of mine but I might just see what I can do. I could do with some more frustration in my life, I don't tear enough hair out these days. |
Deadpoetsmilk | Good luck Leanne, you know the end of the alphabet sucks...well is more difficult. I think I got to letter F and was like damn it to mars.

I found them quite enlightening and fun. ----- Rene' I am orbiting, I don't know where, but I am orbiting something! |
