Just sent you an email regarding same, Leanne. I'm jotting part of it here -- I don't believe that making money as a poet automatically compromises the poet's integrity. Why subscribe to the notion of the starving artist? Isn't it possible to be a well-fed one with integrity intact? I, for one, am going to keep my rose-colored glasses on.

I've got the book...I've got the book! And I am in love with Leanne's brain! The poetry in this book is so rich and clever and engaging, it actually has the power to take me completely out of my mourning and transport me to the world of Hanson -- a marvellously irreverent, witty and insightful place to be.

More when I've read the book in its entirety. Meanwhile, go buy a copy for yourself!
